Water is life is a common saying known to all, especially those of us in Africa. Aside quenching your thirst, there are lot of benefits in taking water (I will share a bit of that too) but our major focus today is to discuss some benefits of taking water on empty stomach.
The best substance to take when you wake up is water, even before you brush your teeth in the morning. Why is that so, you may be asking, well below are some reasons why it is important to take water when your stomach is empty.

Drinking water when your stomach is empty helps to cleanse the colon getting rid of any accumulated muck inside it. This will aid the body absorb nutrients better and faster.
