Hello love, today we’re beauty bound and we’ll be looking at how to get rid of skin tags at home. In other words you’ll learn how to effectively get rid of skin tag without going to see a Cosmetologist.
Skin tags are usually found on the neck, armpits, around the groin, or under the breasts. Skin tags are probably the single most common bump on adult skin.
Skin tags are small formations on the skin that can appear due to a number of factors such as constant friction on the skin and pregnancy. Skin tags are usually harmless and don’t do any harm to the skin, but there are situations where you risk tearing a skin tag off with clothing or jewelry. Plus, for some people, the reasons for wanting to remove skin tags are purely cosmetical. Here are 5 ways to get rid of skin tags at home.
Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil has dozens of uses in beauty and health, and it turns out it is also very helpful against skin tags. Tea tree oil is famous for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, but it also has a drying effect on skin imperfections such as skin tags.
That is exactly what makes tea tree oil so effective against skin tags. To achieve the desired effect, simply cleanse your skin around the affected area and dip a cotton disc into tea tree oil. Gently press the disc against your skin, attach a bandage, and leave overnight. Repeat several times until the skin tag dries out and falls off.
Cutting
This is one of the riskiest ways to get rid of skin tags, but it can be a good option if you cannot see a doctor for a while – for example, during the lockdown – and you just have one or two skin tags you need to have removed urgently. The removal process is very simple: sanitize the area and cut off the skin tag with a pair of sharp scissors or a sharp blade. Sanitize the area once again.
It’s also very important that the skin tags you remove have a very narrow base and are small themselves. Every skin tag has a blood vessel, and the larger the base, the wider the blood vessel is and the bigger is the possibility of bleeding. That is why this method should only be used on tiny tags and only as the last resort.
Banana peel

Banana peel isn’t known for a variety of beauty uses, but this humble product has actually proven to be very effective against skin tags and is one of the mildest ways to get rid of them. Next time you enjoy a banana, don’t throw the peel away – cut off a piece big enough to cover the area with the skin tag and attach it to your skin with a bandage, leaving overnight. You may need to repeat the procedure several times before the skin tag falls off.
String
Since a skin tag has its own blood vessel and circulation, the key to removing it is to cut off the supply of blood to the tag. For some people, the most convenient way to do it is to use a string or a piece of floss. You may need someone’s help if your skin tag is located in an area that is hard to reach. Simply tie a disinfected piece of string around the base of the skin tag that was also previously disinfected. Leave on for several days until the skin tag is ready to come off.
Apple cider vinegar

It’s no secret that apple cider vinegar is a highly acidic product, and its acidity is what helps it remove skin tags gently and effectively. To use this method, soak a cotton disc in some apple cider vinegar, apply to the affected area, and leave for 15 to 30 minutes, securing with a bandage if necessary, After the time passes, remove the cotton disc and allow your skin to try naturally. Repeat several times until the skin tag can be easily removed.
