Someone once asked me “is chocolate cake the same as Black forest cake”? No it’s not the same. I will be sharing with you an easy recipe on how to make Black Forest Cake with Whipped Cream Ganache right from your kitchen. Trust me when i say ‘this is a perfect cake for any and every occasion’.
Ingredients for Whipped Cream Ganache
- 2 cup heavy whipped cream
- 1/4 cup of icing sugar
- Chopped Strawberries
- Red Cherries for toppings
- Shredded Chocolates
Procedures for making Whipped Cream Ganache
Into a mixing bowl, pour in 2 cups of heavy whipped cream. Beat with a mixer till it is stiff.
Add in your icing sugar mix on a low speed till it is well combined.
Slice cake into 3 parts. Place one portion of the cake on a cake board and with the use of a brush apply some syrup on the cake, spread some whipped cream frosting on the cake and then apply some chopped strawberries on top of the whipped cream.( repeat same for the remaining 2 layers)
Cover the whole cake with whipped cream frosting, smoothen the sides and top. Refrigerate for about 1-2 hour(s).
Remove from freezer, then cover sides with grated chocolate. Pipe some rosset at the top and bottom of the cake then place some red cherries on top of each rosset piped.
