Heels are every female friend, it is never missing in their shoe rack, both young and old use it, although, the kind worn differs. While growing I had always watched different categories of people wear high heels, I can’t help but just believe I will wear them someday. I could not afford one, neither could I tell my parent to get me one.
I had always known heels to give a boost of confidence the way I see people walk in them, but I never had a feel until last year when my sister had to gift me one as a birthday gift. It was a great gift to me because it was what I had always wanted. Guess what I realized after wearing it?
High heels are capable of giving you confidence, giving you a new look, and getting your attention. Yes, because I felt weird wearing it at first, but when I got comfortable, I was walking on another level and it got attention to me, majorly because of my body type.

Types of Heels
Block Heel

This is a super stylish heel type that is most advisable to use by beginners because it has a solid bottom that gives you a comfortable stand.
Cuban Heel

This is the type that does not have a high height, it is either short or medium and its majority comes with loafers, ankles boots, or closed shoes.

Comma Heels

This is a heel type with its heel-like comma shape. It is a present firm fascinating and fashionable heels.
Cone Heel

This is a type of heel that has a thick, narrow, and secure stand. It comes in various styles.
Decorative Heel

This is a kind of heel that has a special or decorated design on its heels.
Flare Heel

From the word flare, it is a heel that has a slim base and wide bottoms. It was so popular during the ’70s
French Heel

This can be called a Louis or pompadour heel that has a wide top, thin middle, and a curved short bottom.
Kitten Heel

This is a type of heel commonly worn by tall people or people who find walking in higher heels uncomfortable, but still want to maintain wearing of heels. It is a heel less than 3 inches heel, but thin.

Medium Heel

This fits perfectly for the office, as it is usually between 3-4 inches tall. It is capable of boosting your posture.
Slim Heels

This works best for outings, such as dinner night, parties, etc. As it is a thin base heel that makes your look lengthy. It complements dress (gown) mostly.
Square Heels

It can be likened to the block heels, but it has a rectangular and thick shape.
Exceptional High Heels

I must commend anyone who wears this kind of heel because it is a high heel of about 8 inches or more, although it has a balancing at the front that makes working comfortable.

There are different types of high heels as you have seen and read, although the lower and thicker heels are the most comfortable of all heel types, Nevertheless, Irrespective of the type of heels you would be going for, it is best you look at factors such as, what occasion? How long? What surface will you be walking on? How much standing will be done? How often do you wear heels? etc as there are different heels for different occasions, but your comfortability should be your priority.
If you used to be a lover of flats or sneakers like me, you must gain stamina by going for heels with straps, thick heels, wedge, block heels, etc. to build the balance needed to rock other high heel types.
