Have you ever visited a cake shop and saw those salivating cupcakes with those chocolate and you keep wishing if you bake some for yourself… Don’t worry anymore cos after this ride with me you may not visit any cake-shop anymore.
Today I will be sharing with you this very easy recipe on Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Sour Cream Ganache.

- Chocolate Cupcakes

- Chocolate Sour Cream Ganache
Chocolate Cupcake Recipe
- 100grams of dark Chocolate
- 1 Cup of Water
- 125grams Butter, softened
- 255grams Brown Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 225grams Self-raising Flour
- 1/2(half) Cup of Plain Flour
- 30grams of Cocoa Powder
Now that we know the ingredients we need, let’s look at the procedures for baking Chocolate Cupcakes
Preheat oven to 160°C and Line the muffin pans with paper cases. please ensure the paper cases fit rightly into the muffin pans.
Pour the water into the chocolate in a small saucepan and combine them over low heat. Cook, stirring, till the chocolate melts completely and a smooth mixture is achieved.When this is achieved remove from heat and set to coo off completely.
Prepare dry ingredients, sieving the flours(plain and self raising flour) into a mixing bowl then add your cocoa powder and mix till well combined.
With the use of an electric mixer on high speed beat the butter and sugar until pale and creamy.
Into step 4 add the eggs, one at a time, beating well before the next addition, ensuring it well combined.
Into step 5, add in step 3 and stir until well combined.
Add the melted chocolate mixture into step 6 and stir to combine.
Scoop the batter evenly among the lined muffin pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or more till a skewer or toothpick is dipped in the centre and it comes out clean. Then remove cupcake from oven and allow to cool.
- Chocolate Sour Cream Ganache (Next)
Chocolate Sour Cream Ganache
- 300g dark chocolate
- 300g sour cream
Pour sour cream into the chopped Chocolate inside a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan of simmering water. Cook, stirring, till the chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and glossy. Spread over each cake and set aside to set.
