Hello dear, today I will be sharing with you a very easy and yummy cake recipe, loved by all and leaves this sweet aftermath taste in your mouth. Try out this recipe and feel the yumm-yumm of chocolate cakes… yummy-licious!

Ingredients For Chocolate Cakes
- 245g all purpose flour
- 400g – granulated sugar
- 75g – Cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 – teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 – teaspoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil (kings veg.oil or any pure veg oil)
- 1 cup – liquid milk
- 1cup – hot water
- 1 teaspoon coffee
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon vanilla oil
- 2 teaspoon chocolate flavour/melted chocolate
Procedures For Making Chocolate Cakes
Now that we know the ingredients we need, letâs look at the procedures for making Chocolate Cakes

Step 1
Prepare your cake pan, by applying some butter inside the baking pan and then sprinkle some flour into it,dusting out all excess and set aside.You can also use the non stick spray and a parchment paper, simply by first spraying the non-stick spray over the pan and then lay into the cake pan the parchment paper.
Please note this is to avoid the cake sticking to the pan after it’s been baked.
Step 2
Prepare your coffee.pour in your coffee into the cup of hot water, stir and afterward add in your liquid milk.
Step 3
Prepare your dry ingredients by pouring into a mixing bowl, your flour,baking soda,baking powder and salt.Using a whisk, whisk all dry ingredients. please note that if you are using the chocolate flavour this is where you add it into the mixture.
Step 4
Prepare wet ingredients. Pour into your mixing bowl the sugar, eggs and veg oil.whisk all together till it is smooth and fluffy.You know it is ready when it is all foaming,change in color and well risen. Then add in your vanilla extract and mix till it incorporated into the mixture.
Please note if you are using the melted chocolate this is where you pour it in the sugar-egg mixture.
Step 5
Into step 4,fold in your coffee mixture and mix the mixture with your whisk or a spatula.
Step 6
Make a well inside the bowl containing the dry ingredients and pour in step 4(wet ingredients) into the dry ingredients and whisk it properly.
Step 7
Pour batter into your cake pan and put it into the oven on a medium heat.
Please always ensure your oven is always preheated before putting your pan into it.
Bake till a toothpick is put in the center and it center and it comes out clean.
