I’m sure what attracted you to this article is because you thought it was referring to the romantic meeting or outing with a lover or potential lover (Date/Dating). In this context, we’re looking at another type of date and why it’s so important due to its natural benefits.
My first encounter with the dates as far back as 2010, was brought back from Mecca (Muslim Pilgrimage) by my cleric back then. Phoenix dactylifera, commonly known as date or date palm, is a flowering plant species in the palm family, Arecaceae, cultivated for its edible sweet fruit. The species is widely cultivated across Northern Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. The dates are grown in many tropical regions of the world. It is not so popular and not everybody knows about it and its nutritional values. It has this honey-like taste and can be used in place of sugar.
Dates are chewy with a sweet flavour. It is high in some important nutrients and has a variety of advantages and uses which we’d be looking at.
Almost all dates sold in Western countries are dried. Their appearance allows you to identify whether they’re fresh or dried. A wrinkled skin indicates they are dried, whereas a smooth skin indicates freshness.
